New Year off to a Kicking Start

2007 has taken off and we couldn't be happier! It's been great seeing everyone get back on track now that the holidays are over, and everyone is coming in refreshed and ready to go!
Classes have been fun and energetic with the students ready to work hard and continue on their path to achieving the goals that they have set for themselves this year!
The first 3 weeks of this new year have already flown by quickly. Saturday, January 13th we held our monthly Master's Club Seminar (for our current Black Belts). Mr. Stumm taught a great grappling class, and our Black Belts had a great time learning the various holds and locks. The following Saturday we had a Buddy Day. Many students came to train with their friends that day and all had a good time being able to be an "instructor-for-the-day" with their friends. It is great to see them see a different side of the martial arts! We followed Buddy Day with a Birthday Party - giving the birthday boy an oppurtunity to be an instructor for a couple of hours - helping us teach and show his friends the great time martial arts practice can be - naturally throwing games and a pinata in as well!
With testing help wrap this month up, I can only smile and say it has been a good one, and I look forward to the activites that February will bring! Keep an eye out for information on our Sweethear Day, Rollerskating Party and more!
