Kick-a-thon!

On Saturday, April 14, 2007, East Coast Karate Institute hosted a kick-a-thon with all proceeds benefitting autism, through GVASD. We had a great number of students participate. Each student had 1 minute to do as many kicks as they could - the highest number reached was 111!!!
The money collected is going to a great cause and we really look forward to being able to support them more in the future!

Karate Demo at Bethel Springs

On Wednesday, April 11th, East Coast Karate Institute's Demo Team put on a demonstration at Bethel Springs Elementary School, for their Health Fair! They helped show the students who attended what a person is able to do if they excercise and keep themselves healthy! The demo was very well recieved and we look forward to being able to do it again next year!
